What’s Happening on November 8th? A Lot.

There’s a lot happening at Squantum School on November 8th!

1. Voting

Most people have decided who they will vote for.  If not, don’t stand on the sidelines, vote!     Here’s more information about the candidates and what office they are running for..

2. Book Fair

Students get a chance to purchase new books, pencils, & erasers during school hours.  (Hint: Not a bad idea to give them a little extra money this day to support the PTO)

We also need volunteers as this is a multi-day event (November 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th, and 15th).  Can you help?   If so, get in touch with Kathy Brink at 617-593-4400 or

Bake Sale November 8: Help the PTO Raise Some Dough

Help the PTO Raise Some Dough Tuesday November 8th from 7am to 7pm

How Box Tops for Education Works

It’s easy to participate in the “Box Tops for Education” program.

The Easy Way

  1. Clip out box top for participating brands in the Box Tops for Education program.
  2. Bring them into school and put them in the big jar outside the Principal’s office (for the school in general) or into the classroom (to be applied towards your child’s classroom Box Tops Competition Score)

Optional: Register with the Box Tops Website

  1. Go to the Box Tops website
  2. Register for the school to get the weekly amount of box tops money the schools has earned – cool!
  3. Participating Brands here

Earn some money for Squantum – ask your friends and family to help out too!

Stop & Shop A+ Rewards Program

Stop & Shop A+ Rewards Program: We are once again pleased to be participating in this great program. Last year, we earned over $800 for the school by registering and shopping with a Stop & Shop card to earn points for the school.  You don’t pay anything, simply register your card and earn points for the school.

To register, please visit

You will need a Stop & Shop card and the Squantum Schol 5 digit school ID code, which is 07202.

Tip: This isn’t limited to Squantum School parents – you can pass this on to grandparents, aunts, and uncles, who shop at Stop and Shop!!

Successful Drop Offs

If you choose to drop off or pick up your child, please follow these rules.

  • Cars should drive up Huckins Ave. toward Bellevue.
  • Students should get in cars from the sidewalk on the residential side of the street.
  • Students should exit cars onto the sidewalk on the residential side of the street.
  • Students and parents should allow the crossing guard to cross them when she is on duty.
